Which records in cricket are unlikely to be broken ever
In today's cricketing environment where we keep seeing records broken in One day cricket but not necessarily Test cricket, we can see some achievements will not be overthrown anytime soon.
Test cricket-although we still see some huge scores from around the globe, the general push from the cricketing world, is to make Test cricket more attractable. That means games with results, not scores over 500. Pitches get slated if they end in boring draws and we are now starting to see day/night games come to fruition. This most likely means fewer runs. I suspect because of this we are unlikely to see someone break:
    • Donald Bradman's average of 99
    • Brian Lara's 400 *
    • Murali 800 wickets (tougher wickets generally means greener/more conducive to seam bowlers/less likely to stay fit enough to break this record)
